Extreme times call for sustainable solutions

Dear Readers,

Summer is over, and once again, it has broken all records. With temperatures reaching 41.8°C at the Möckern-Drewitz weather station in Saxony-Anhalt on 27 June 2026, Germany experienced its highest temperature ever.

In mid-July, severe storms in Reutlingen flooded streets, leaving them covered in hailstones up to five centimetres in diameter. The storms caused at least EUR 50 million in damage to agriculture.

These are records that none of us can feel proud about.

So it’s all the more important that we continue to invest in sustainable, low-emission public transport – public transport that uses resources efficiently, reduces soil sealing and helps reduce local heat accumulation. For years, depot roofs have been equipped with photovoltaic systems, helping to reduce CO₂ emissions by generating energy from renewable sources.
With our products, we are making an important contribution to climate-friendly mobility. They stand for clean, sustainable and socially responsible solutions.

This year’s InnoTrans also set a new record: never before have so many exhibitors and visitors attended the world’s leading trade fair for transport technology. We were also delighted to welcome numerous visitors to our stand. The many engaging conversations, valuable exchanges and strong interest in our solutions made the trade fair a great success for us.

We would like to sincerely thank all our guests for visiting us and for the many inspiring encounters.
