HANNING & KAHL GmbH & Co. KG will launch a new filter flushing unit on 1 July 2026. This is specifically designed to flush hydraulic lines and will play a key role in ensuring the operational reliability and durability of hydraulic brake systems. By Wadim Tietz

Cleanliness and oil purity are crucial to the reliability of hydraulic components. Even the smallest contamination can affect how these sensitive parts function. The new filter flushing unit will enable targeted, repeatable cleaning of pipes and hydraulic hoses, as well as safe and controlled filling of components with oil.

Modern, user-friendly operation has been a key focus of the development work. Thanks to the integrated log management, all relevant data can be stored directly on a central server, eliminating the need to export it to a USB stick. This is complemented by remote maintenance, which facilitates rapid support and reduces downtime. The system can also be conveniently controlled remotely, further simplifying everyday operations. In addition, the intuitive software interface ensures ease of use and efficient handling.

In terms of technology, the unit boasts a pulsed flushing system that effectively removes dirt deposits. In combination with a higher flow rate, it ensures lines are thoroughly cleaned. The pulsing function can be activated or deactivated flexibly as required.

The ease of maintenance has also been specifically improved. All relevant components are readily accessible to simplify servicing. Robust piping replaces conventional hydraulic hoses, reducing the amount of maintenance required. The operator can also carry out the maintenance directly on site.
